Triple Dub

We will soon be creating an official band website on the World Wide Web (triple dub - for those of you who didn’t catch on to that…lol) where there will be merchandise and an EP and lots of other goodies for everyone to see. Right now we have a Facebook page which has a few song demo’s on it. They were recoded live at a church event and arn’t the best sound quality but they get the vision across. We will keep everyone updated on the up and coming website and EP hopefully coming out this December!

Driveway = Parking Lot

We practice at MaryPat’s house not too far away from Liberty’s Campus. We all tend to drive separately because we are all so busy doing things. The driveway quickly turns into a parking lot. Haha oops. MaryPat’s parents, who we have come to call Mom and Dad, have given up part of their basement to serve as our band room. We are so blessed to have a place to call home to the band so we can practice and also a place we can go to get away from school. Mom always makes us delicious dinners on practice nights. Those nights are our favorites!

Campus Artist Series

Last year we were invited to play at Campus Artist Series at Liberty. It was really awesome. MaryPat was actually really sick and wasn’t able to come. It was a little stressful, but there was no way to reschedule on such short notice. It still went really well and Dan and Whitney split up the singing because MaryPat usually sings most of the songs. It was an awesome opportunity. We have played Campus Atrist Series twice and are hoping to be able to play again this year! Come out and see us! :)

The Light!

Last year we were asked to be on the radio at Liberty University. The Light, 90.9, asked us to come and play a few songs on the radio and answer a few questions. It was an awesome experience and we made a few great contacts because of it. We hope to be on again with some special announcements. ;)

Ninja!!!

Our favorite game to play when we go on trips is NINJA!!! Especially with youth groups. The kids usually already know how to play but we get to teach a few of them and then we all have a huge ninja tournament. It is so much fun and a great way to get to know people.

Ga Hoole!!

Today, well I guess now it would have been tomorrow, was Whitney’s birthday. The big 2-1!!! WOOHOO! We all had classes so we got to see her in passing and wish her a happy birthday but we really celebrated with dinner at her favorite place to eat, Moe’s! We then went to Toys-R-Us to get her one of her birthday presents, an owl webkin. The big event of the night was we were going to see the new movie about owls! Legends of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga Hoole. It was pretty awesome. It was a little strange but it made the movie interesting, cute and fun to watch with friends. We were the only ones in the theatre so we didnt have to worry about bothering anyone else. We tend to be a little loud in public. Haha oops.
